This studio day is dedicated to all our furry friends of the world. We love our dog “Sadie”. Sadie was rescued in Summit County many years ago. We created dog day because we know how much you love your dog, and we wanted to find a way to give back to the community. So, “Dog Day” was created. Not only are we doing this for you, but we are also doing this for the VCA Mountainview Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge. We want to give something back to them. The session fee will be $25 to the VCA Mountainview Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge, and a bag of Dry Dog/Cat Food. This event is also open to Cats. However, cats are a little harder to photograph as the lights usually spook them a little. But, if you want to bring your cat we will work our magic.

The Dog Days Portrait Day is coming soon this Summer.
We should tell you that this will not be your typical “Studio dog portrait day”. Nope, we are planning to create the best image of your dog showing his or her personality. Sometimes we will get it in the first few frames, sometimes we may have to take 20, whatever it takes. We will be focusing on your dog and not so much as the backgrounds, props and colors. As you can see by our samples your attention is drawn directly to the dog, and you know what that dog is like just by looking at them.

Here is a few things you should know about our dog day photos
- Images will be captured on our high-key white background.
- Images will be of the dog (or dogs) alone. This is Dog Day, not Dog & Owner Day (so please don’t ask)
- A bag of dog food and a $25 donation to VCA Mountainview Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge is required at the time of session. You will receive a tax receipt from them.
- Please bring chew toys, squeaker toys or any other “vice” you use to bribe your K9 to smile. Want to dress up your dog? Go for it.
- If it is wet or snow, please carry your dog inside.
- You know when your dog has to go and if he or she happens to go………..so be it. Dogs do that. Don’t cry.
- Please give us 48 hours notice of any cancellation so that we can rebook your spot.
