Katie & James’s upcoming Denver, Colorado Wedding.

I met Katie and James last summer over coffee. They found me through an ad I placed on Craigslist.

I feel it’s so important to meet couples face to face. Meeting for coffee is a relaxed way to get to know each other. They are so much fun and loving toward each other. I am so looking forward to being a part of their wedding day. They are getting married this March in Downtown Denver, Colorado.

A little about their story:

One of Katie’s best girlfriends played kick ball with James and introduced them at a teammates 30th birthday party. Six months later James proposed at their third date spot, the Downtown Denver Aquarium. It’s so special to both of them because it’s the date that they both realized they wanted to spend their rest of their lives together. When James popped the question they were in the water tube where you are completely surrounded by turtles, sharks, and fish. According to Katie it was beautiful, and she was shocked.

After Katie & James’s engagement session. I asked if they would take a moment to write about their experience with our meetings so far. That was in October of 2008. Today, I received a email from Katie.
“When James and I met Paul, we knew we didn’t have to look any further for our wedding photographer. He is extremely professional, creative and knows how to understand exactly what you want to capture for your event.
We love how our engagement photos turned out and were so impressed with his eye for details and ideas for the pictures. He even photo shopped our initials into one of the trees, it really gave it a personal touch and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks for everything so far and we look forward to working with you on our big day.”
